Ovarian cyst is a common pathology affecting women of all age groups. It can occur in young girls and also in post menopausal females. It occurs due to development of fluid filled sacs in ovary. The cysts vary in size from a few centimeters to large cysts measuring more than 20 cm in size. They can occur in one or both ovaries.
